Dragon Ball Legends: A Guide on Art Cards

In playing Dragon Ball Legends, techniques and strategies are your best weapons when you find yourself in a tight PvP battle. Regardless of the type and rarity of the fighter, you can still easily lose the battle if you are not aware of the basic combinations of your unit.

That being said, knowing your units enough should be the first thing you should do. Once you have familiarized them, you can now understand the use and importance of art cards. But you might be wondering now what art cards are in Dragon Ball Legends.

What are Art Cards

Art cards are obtainable items that you can use in combat to fully utilize your skills and abilities. Simply put, these are cheat items that make your ability combo more lethal or let you evade incoming damage. Currently, there are six different art cards that we will be sharing with you here. Each art shares a different ability or stat with your unit.

Blast Art (Yellow)

Among all the art cards that you can use, this yellow card has the closest resemblance to the energies that you shoot an enemy at a distance. Upon landing a hit on the enemy, the opponent will be pushed back by one tile, unless the opponent is already positioned at a good distance.

One good way to counter this art attack is if the unit has Blast Armor properties. Otherwise, this is a good one to use against opponents using Strike Arts or Melee Special Move Arts.

Strike Arts (Red)

Strike Arts is the complete opposite of Blast Art given that the latter is for long range and the former is for short range.

When using this art card, the unit will dash toward the opponent, and upon reaching a particular distance, it will be followed by a melee attack. If you think that you have made a mistake using this, you can cancel it through a side-step.

Special Skill Arts (Green)

Talk about buffs—this Special Skill Art is the answer. Upon using this art card, different fighters can experience various buffs. Some of the most common uses are as a counter for incoming attacks, release a series of projectiles that charge to the opponent, and the ability to make a character an ally.

Once you have already figured out the best use of this card, you can try experimenting and using another art card to make a deadly combo.

Special Move Arts

This particular art card is another type that is individualized and specific to the unit used. However, this art card cannot be used together with another art card which is why using this to end your combo is the perfect way to use it.

Awakened Arts

For this particular art card, using this will allow the character to use a special attack that you probably haven’t heard of yet. So if you are up to showing a stronger side of your fighter, better use it while your opponent is still alive. However, only a few characters can have this art card.

Ultimate Arts

If you think that using a special move art already makes your unit the best fighter, better wait until you hear about the Ultimate Arts.

This art card gives your fighter more potential and grants a more powerful buff than the special move can offer. However, not all fighters have this card.
